1.-Reservations and Payments

  • How can I make a reservation?
    • Click on the “Book” button and a page will appear where you can choose your dates. Select your check-in and check-out dates on the calendar, and the number of nights will be displayed automatically. Then click SEARCH , and availability will be shown based on the number of guests.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    • After submitting your request, you’ll receive an email with the next steps. A payment of approximately 50% of the total amount is required and can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. As a small family-run business, we do not accept credit card payments.
  • Is a deposit required to secure the reservation?
    • Yes, to confirm your booking, a **deposit of approximately 50%** of the total amount is required.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • In case of cancellation, you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid, minus a cancellation fee based on the following schedule:
      • 5% if cancelled more than 30 days in advance
      • 40% if cancelled 30 to 15 days in advance
      • 60% if cancelled 15 to 7 days in advance
      • 100% if cancelled 7 days or less in advance
         
  • Do you offer any discounts for long stays or large groups?
    • Yes, we offer special rates for `biweekly or monthly stays´, which will automatically appear in the SEARCH results if the selected number of nights qualifies.

  • How many bedrooms and bathrooms does the house have?
    • La Casa Grande has two bedrooms — one with a double bed and one with two single beds — both located on the upper floor along with a full bathroom. On the ground floor, there is an additional bathroom with a shower and a washing machine.
    • La Casita del Jardín* has one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom located at the entrance, and a washing machine on the porch.
  • What is the maximum capacity of the rural house?
    • La Casa Grande accommodates up to 4 adults
    • La Casita del Jardín accommodates up to 2 adults (double bed 140×200 cm).
  • Do the rooms have private bathrooms?
    • Yes, but not `en suite´.
  • Are bed linens and towels included?
    • Yes, and for stays longer than one week, a full set of fresh linens and towels is provided weekly.
  • Are extra beds or cots available?
    • Yes, we offer `foldable travel cots´ and extra beds for children upon request.

  • Is there a fully equipped kitchen?
    • Casa Grande: Fridge, ceramic hob, oven, various types of coffee makers, kettle, microwave, and essential cooking utensils.
    • Casita del Jardín: Fridge, ceramic hob, various types of coffee makers, kettle, microwave, and essential cooking utensils.
  • Is Wi-Fi available?
    • Yes, we offer various internet systems: router with Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Mesh, and PLC plug systems.
  • Does the house have air conditioning or heating?
    • Casa Grande: In the living-dining room (Inverter type).
    • Casita del Jardín: In the kitchen-living area (Inverter type).
  • Is cleaning service included or available at an extra cost?
    • No, we do not offer cleaning service.
  • Is smoking allowed in the house?
    • Only in the patios.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    • Check-in: Between 11:00 and 20:00 by prior arrangement. Outside of these hours, an additional fee may apply.
    • Check-out: Before 11:00. A later check-out may be arranged if there are no incoming guests.
  • Are pets allowed?
    • Sorry, pets are not allowed.
  • Are there any noise or facility use rules?
    • No parties or excessive noise after 10:00 PM.
  • What to do in case of emergency?
    • Contact us by phone. For serious emergencies, call 112.
  • Is the house accessible for people with reduced mobility?
    • No, unfortunately there are several stairs.

  • How can I get to the rural house from the airport or nearest station?
  • Is parking available on the property?
    • Yes, on the exterior side of the house.
  • Do you offer airport transfer services?
    • No, we do not provide transportation services.
  • Is the house close to public transportation?
    • Yes, there’s a nearby bus stop on the TF-333 road – BUS 390 to and from Puerto de la Cruz Bus Station. However, we recommend renting a car for convenience and flexibility.

  • Does the house have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors?
    • We only use electric appliances indoors, so these detectors are not considered necessary.
  • Is a first aid kit available?
    • Yes, we provide a basic first aid kit.
  • Does the house have a pool?
    • No, we do not have a pool.
