So the place where the conquerors were located was called Realejo de Arriba, and the one occupied by the Guanches, Realejo de Abajo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the historian Millares Torres adds:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the morning of July 25, when the Church celebrates the feast of Santiago, the five Guanche kings crossed the ravine that separated the two camps: Bencomo, Beneharo, Acaymo, Tegueste, and Zebenzui, and the general, with flags unfurled, drums, clarions, and accompanied by his principal officers, went out to meet them, giving Bencomo an affectionate embrace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This event marked the end of the conquest of Tenerife and the definitive incorporation of the Canary Islands into the Crown of
